Terms of Service
Last updated: November 5, 2026
These terms apply when you use PortalSync, run by zHeight (“we”). By signing in or using the customer portal, you agree to them. If you use PortalSync for your company, you agree for your company too.
1. The service
PortalSync helps design and construction teams manage projects, customer approvals, email, meetings, chat, documents and invoices, and gives their customers a portal to follow their project. We may improve or change features over time.
2. Accounts
- Your company admin invites you with your work email. Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
- You may only connect the Google or Microsoft account of the email you were invited with.
- Company admins decide who has access and what each role can do, and are responsible for removing people who leave.
3. Your content
Projects, files, messages and other content you add stay yours (or your company's). You give us permission to store and process them only to provide PortalSync to you. You are responsible for having the right to share what you upload, including your customers' contact details.
4. Fair use
Please do not:
- try to get into accounts, projects or data that are not yours, or test our security without written permission;
- overload the service, scrape it, or use automated tools to sign in;
- send spam, illegal content, or anything that harms others;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer PortalSync.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules or puts other users at risk.
5. Connected services
Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams and messaging apps are provided by their owners under their own terms. PortalSync works with them on your behalf, but we are not responsible for their availability. How we handle data from them is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Invoices and payments
Invoices in PortalSync are issued by the service provider running the project, not by us. Payments are made through that provider's own payment link, and any question about an amount is between the customer and that provider.
7. Availability and liability
We work hard to keep PortalSync available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without a guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of documents you must keep. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data.
8. Ending use
You can stop using PortalSync at any time. Your company admin can remove your access. You can ask us to delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes, law and contact
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top. Using PortalSync after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Questions: sourabh@zheight.com.
